LONGHORNS TO Honor WILLIAMS WITH STATUE Alongside CAMPBELL

Texas will honor former Heisman Trophy champion Ough Williams having a statue in the football stadium that be revealed in the Longhorns' annual spring game on April 1.

The 8-feet, 1,000-pound bronze figure will stand alongside a statue of Earl Campbell, another former Texas Heisman champion.

Williams won the Heisman in 1998 and handle his Longhorns career because the NCAA career hurrying leader. He lately upon the market in the National football league. Texas upon the market William's No. 34 jersey in 2000.

Cleveland artist David Demming, who trained at Texas for 26 years, was commissioned to create the Williams statue this year.
